Krishna and Radha, Jesus and Mary Magdalene, Rama and Sita, Siva and Parvathy are the emblems of the Male and Female Components of the Ultimate, Purusha & Prakriti ! The iteral value is for the layman only. The function of Epic and Mythology is to adumbrate philosophic verities. Why cant Purusha kiss Prakriti ?
