The Overmind has been defined as an Ocean of stable lightnings. In its power of origination and in the process of its executive dynamis, Overmind is the vast organaniser of many potentialities of Existence, a magician craftsman empowered to weave the multi colored warp and woof of the manifestation of a single entity in a complex Universe.
The Overmind is the in bewteen betwixt Mind and Supermind.
Opposites are irreconcilable to Mental Reason. To the Overmental, they are coexistent correlatives and to the Supramental, they are an Integral Whole.
Mind asks ” How can One and Many be same ?” They may be Opposites to the Mental, but from an Overmental perspective, both coexist! Look at the Atom ! Both negatively and positively charged particles coexist ! Which made Hegel define Truth as ” LIke the Atom, Truth is an organic unity of Opposed Parts” !
The Rishies also gave a hint. “Thou Art One, but at the same time, Many”, Ek Thoo Rama, Anek Thoo Rama !
If you tell some one you have seen the Purusha transcending Prakiti, they will have a good laugh ! But this is what the Rishies did, Vedaham Ekam Purusham Mahantam Aditya Varna Tamasa Parasthat !
