Did not Dante et al have their paramours. Dante’s lover was Beatrice !
So the Sasan indulges in the pleasures of the mundane. All material comforts are given to him by Fate. He becomes fed up with Eros and mundane pleasures and turns to Spirituality.
Fate satiates his desires. The Houses are made Karmaless, that his state becomes that of Kaivalya, the Ultimate Liberated Stage, of which Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras speak so much !
Example _ King Porooravas, who fell in love with Urvashi. Urvashi told him the pleasures of the mundane are only temporary and it is Supra mundane Bliss which is to be achieved.
