This gaseous giant, this whirling mass of Hydrogen & Helium, was called by the ancients as Dyo Pitah ( Dyo - Heaven; Pita Father ). Dyo Pita became Jupiter.

Another similiarity is that the swing bowlers, bowled India back into the game.
Even though the Indian speedstars could not bowl faster than their W I counterparts, they swung the ball more than the West Indians, notably Madan Lal. Here also, the master swing bowler, Bumrah, brought India back into the game by clean bowlng Jansen. Incredible parallels – 1983 & 2024 WCs.
It was the Sardars who drew first blood for India. Sandhu clean bowled Greenidge and Bhumrah Hendricks.
Sandhu was an unknown hero. Am told by Bombay League players that his master ball, the offcutter, was almost unplayable. Here he is, clean bowling a great
batsman.
