Shahid Afridi sits at the top with 351 sixes in 398 matches. The third six took Rohit Sharma’s tally of sixes to 333, 18 behind Shahid Afridi’s. Rohit is a six-hitter and hitting 19 sixes should not be a concern for him. Rohit will also feature in the third ODI against England which will be followed by the Champions Trophy where India will play at a minimum of three games and a maximum of five matches if they reach the final. 19 sixes in six matches is three sixes on an average which should be easy for Rohit if he stays at the wicket for long. Rohit Sharma’s future in ODIs is not certain after the ICC Champions Trophy so he needs to break the record in the Champions Trophy itself.

Rohit is already the leading six-hitter in international cricket, having scored 624 sixes.
