Another Quantum Mystic !
A Complete Guide to the Laws of the Universe
by Sir Roger Penrose
Sir Roger Penrose is a genius. He has made lasting contributions to Cosmology, Philosophy and Mathematics. He collaborated with Hawking in unravelling many problems in Cosmology. He shared the Wolf Prize in Physics with Hawking. He is the author of the Twister Theory, which maps geometrical object into four dimensional space time. He invented the spin network, which came to form the geometry of space time in the Loop Quantum Theory, a theory which explains all the forces in Nature.
His major books are
The Emperor’s New Mind
The Large, small and the Human Mind
Shadows of the Mind.
The first book explains that human consciousness cannot be explained from the laws of Science. Human Consciousness transcends formal logic as in the case of mathematical or intuitive insights. The Epheral nature of Consciousness implies a quantum process in the brain. Mind resides in this quantum domain.
His books have created a paradigm shift in human thinking. He is another exponent of Quantum Mysticism !

The Great Trichur Pooram !
The Chamravattom Regulator Bridge !
is a 148 cr project. It will block the waters from Bharatapuzha from flowing
into the sea. 13 kms long and 869 hectares will be directly benefited. The
transporters save 30 kms. We need more infra projects like these, as Agri India
do not have sufficient water ! Water scarcity has been reported in Cherpu, where
women stand in queue for hours to get a bucket of water ! It will save 15 mm
cubics of water in the first phase and 25 mm cubics in the second phase.
The Temple on the banks of Nila, at Chamravattom. Nearly 10000 hectares
can be irrigated by the Regulator Bridge. Inauguration by the CM at 0400
PM.
The great mathematical genius, Aryabhata was born on the banks of Nila.
Another Jain Siddha practised the 64 liberal arts at this place. Astronomy,
Astrology, Music etc was practised on the banks of this river. This river is the
Ganges of the Keralites. It is said that Kerala culture came from Nila !
The Sevenfold Ignorance !
Man is ‘blessed’ with seven types of ignorance.
Cosmic Ignorance
Ignorant we are about the origin, purpose and becoming of our existence in this Cosmos.
Absolute Ignorance
The Absolute is the source of all being and becoming. and we are ignorant of the Absolute.
Egotistic Ignorance
Egotistic Ignorance is that we are ignorant of the spaceless timeless and immortal self. We have only a short life.
Temporal Ignorance
We are ignorant of our eternal becoming in time; that is the fourth temporal ignorance.
Psychological Ignorance
This prevents us from knowing who we really are.
Constitutional Ignorance
We are also ignorant of the true constitution of our becoming..
Practical Ignorance
Because of greed and fear, we commit many a blunder and this is our Practical Ignorance.
We have to transcend this sevenfold Ignorance and rise to Integral Knowledge, which is needed for Enlightenment.
Karthika Njattuvela, the Solar Transit of the Pleiades strikes !
when Karthika Njattuvela began on 10th, it heralded the rains. It started
raining at 0700 PM yesterday and rained continously for 12 hours ! I couldnt
even work on FB, because of the heavy thunder and lightning. I stopped working
on FB at 0900 PM.
Our Astro Calender says that it will start raining from
10th May and rains will intensify after 29th, when the Solar Transit of 15th
degree of Taurus or Edavam takes place.
While this is Astro Meteorology’s
perspective, Meteorlogy will say that rains are due to depressions in the Indian
Ocean or the Bay of Bengal, giving it some fancy names such as La Nina or El
Nino !
Here is a photo of paddy fields inundated by yesterday’s rains
!
One yearn for rains !
It is a very hot day today and one
yearns for the rains. The South West Monsoon will begin on 29th May, but before
that rains are expected to appear after May 10th, when the Solar transit of the
Pleiades or Karthika Njattuvela begins.
May there be plenty of rains and
may be land become fertile, Kale Varshe thu parjanya prithvee sasya shalini

The Three Definitions
The definitions of Mind, Overmind & Supermind in Aurobindonian Dialectic
Mind ( Mana )
Mind is a clumsy interlude between Nature’s vast and precise
subconscient action and the vaster and infallible superconscient action
of the Godhead.… There is nothing Mind can do which cannot be better done by the Mind’s immobility of thought free stillness.
Overmind ( Vijnana )
In its power of origination and in the process of its executive
dynamis, Overmind is the vast organiser of many potentialities of
existence, a magician craftsman empowered to weave the multi colored
warp and woof of manifestation of a single entity in a complex universe.
Supermind ( Prajnana )
Supermind is the Alpha and the Omega, the instrument of all
unification, of all origination, originative, executive and
consummative in all realised and realisable harmonies !
The Lunar Calendar !
Vaisakha is the second month of the Hindu Lunar Calender.
The Full Moon of Vrishabha ( Taurus ) occurs near the constellation Beta Librae (Vishakha ) and hence is called Vaishakha. It begins from April 21 and ends on May 20.
Vaishakha… begins from today, the New Moon of April. The Sikh Harverst Festival, Baisakhi, is celebrated this month. It is the second month of the Tamil Solar Calender.
The Full Moon of Vaisakha is celebrated as Buddha Pournima or the birthday of Lord Buddha.
In Guruvayur, the Holy Month of Vaisakha begins. Pilgrims from TN, Karnataka and AP rush to Guruvayur to have a glimpse of the Lord during this Holy Month.
