Now we will deal with the two terms used in the Prathama Sastra, Vedanta. Veda means Knowledge and Anta means the End of Knowledge. Knowledge and Ignorance, Science and Nescience, Avidya and Vidya, Jnana and Ajnana. Identification with the body is Ignorance; whereas Identification with the Self is Knowledge, as the Self transcends the body !
