Hence this maxim &#8221; Know Thyself&#8221; assumes great significance.<\/p>\n<p><em>Atmanam Viddhi <\/em>is the message of the mighty Upanishads. In Latin<em> Nosche te ipsum !<\/em><\/p>\n<p>What is the use of anything in this world if we dont know the Self ?<\/p>\n<p>It is not for the husband&#8217;s sake that husband is loved. It is not for the wife&#8217;s sake that wife is loved. It is for the sake of the Self !( <em>Atmanasthu kamaya sarvam priyam bhavathi ).<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This Self is to be known and experienced. The Self, when known, everything is known !
