Most of the Vedic Yantras have Hexagrams or the Six Pointed Star in the middle. This is ithe Tripura Sundari Yantra,<\/em> which is a Master Plan of Manifestation. The Central Dot is the Bindu, the Absolute Self from which the Universe came into existence !<\/p>\n The Ashwaroodha Yantra<\/em> normally adorns offices. This S G ( Sacred Geometry ) symbol can attract people and destroy enemies, the Seven Deadly Sins in Man.<\/p>\n The Sudarshana Yantra<\/em> is great in destroying enemies. The Star of Lakshmi is an octagram, an eight pointed Star, which can bestow the Eightfold Prosperity.<\/p>\n The S G emblems can be seen adorning offices and homes in India. The temples, synagogues, churches and mosques are all built using S G.<\/p>\n The Star of David is also a Hexagram. So is the emblem of Auroville. The upward triangle represent Being, Knowledge, Bliss and the downward triangle Life, Mind & Matter !.<\/p>\n Pentagrams, hexagrams and octagrams are all used in Sacred Geometry. The Golden Ratio, the Divine Proportion or the Sectio Divina<\/em> or Phi ( 1.618 ) , Pi( 3.14) are all divine numbers used in S G.<\/p>\n In the Sri Yantra,<\/em> there are three Hexagrams or three triangles bent upward and three triangles bent downward. The Sanskrit Shat Kona <\/em>is the hexagram or the Six Pointed Star.<\/p>\n The Fibonacci sequence gives the Golden Mean<\/p>\n 1,1,2,3,5,8…….<\/p>\n If you add 1 and 1 you get 2 and if you add 2 and 3 you get 5 and so on and if you divide 5\/3 or 8\/5 you get 1.618 which is Phi or the Golden Mean !<\/p>\n <\/p>\n![\"\"](\"http:\/\/www.eastrovedica.com\/images\/sri-yantra.gif\")
