Kathakali, Mohiniattom, Kuchipudi, Bharata Natyam, Odissi, Sattriya, Kathak, Manipuri, Kalarippayattu, Ottam Thullal, Krishnanattom, Theyyam, Chakyar Koothu, Thiruvathirakali, Kavadiattom, Nangiar Koothu, Koodiyattom and Kummattikali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They mystic number 18 represents18 principles. They are<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Five Elements – Earth, Water, Fire, Ether and Air.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The five organs of action, Karmendriyas – Pada ( feet ), Hasta ( hands ), Vag Indriya ( Sense of Speech), Paya ( Anus ) and Upastha ( Genitalia ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The five organs of perception, Jnanendriyas – Ear, Skin, Eyes, Tongue and Nose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
