With him, as his Military Commander, he had the services of a great General, Marcus Agrippa. Of course, he was going against a formidable warrior, Marc Antony, who was described by Shakespeare thus;

His legs bestrid the Ocean,
His plumed arm crested the world.
His voice, propertied after the tuned spheres
And when he wanted to shake and quail the orb,
It was like rattling thunder.

Augustus Caesar and Agrippa overcomes the forces of Antony and Cleopatra and Augustus became the First Emperor of Rome.

But Augustus was different from the other Emperors. Even from his great Uncle, Julius Caesar ! He was a Philosopher- King, in whom powers - both eternal and temporal - met !

Born in Hamsa Yoga, with exalted Jupiter on the Upper Meridien, he had divine help and support. He believed himself to be born for a noble mission, for which all personal comforts had to be sacrifed !

He was moved by the Divine ! While the other 5 emperors of the two triumvirates perished by the sword, his was a natural death.

Juilus Caesar was assasinated. Pompey lost in head. Crassus died in battle. Lepidus also . And Marc Antony had to kill himself !

So the law, he who taketh the sword will perish by the sword, was not valid to him, who founded the Religion of Numa ! Buchan defined the Religion of Numa as a probe into the mysteries of the Infinite and the Unknown !

He was an Initiate, belonging to a secret Guru Parampara. Dante had a Guru Parmpara and was initiated by Virgil. He had visions of the Inferno, Purgatorio and Paradiso !

Like those ancient, orthodox, Raja Rishies, he had consecrated all his endeavors to the welfare of his subjects. Due to the divine nature of Jupiter who had caused Hamsa Yoga, he had the confidence that every step is divinely ordained.

20% of humanity came under one man. He ruled Rome for 40 years and this Age was known as the Golden Age of Rome !

It reminds one of the Spiritual Protection given to Chathrapati Shivaji, by his Guru, Sri Samarth Ramdas !
