What is the Secret,
To become a Dante or a Kalidasa?
By transcending the mundane,
And indulging in Meditation & Prayer

The Thesis, Poets are born,
Does have a powerful Anti Thesis
MIlton was not a born poet,
He\u00a0was a made one.

He had lived laborious days,
Burning the midnight oil,
In mastering the Bible,
Labor is the All Conqueror !

Fortune favors the industrious,
Only the weak say God gave.
Erase God and Fate and work hard
Your fortunes will change !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is nothing unconquerable,
To Meditation, Yoga, all are conquerable !
Na Saddhya Tapasa kinchit
Trishu Lokeshu Vidyate .
 
…How poetic faculty can be developed?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meditation opens Intuitive Mind,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The repository of scientia intuitiva,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Intuition is that faculty of the Absolute,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And reveals eyes that see.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grace grants prayers sincere,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Invocation invokes Muses or Saraswati,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That Thou should preside over voice and words,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Padamay Thoovil vanaruluka Nee.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tune Thou art,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also Symphony<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thou art Bliss<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also Lyrics Immortal !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Longfellow averred that  the poet<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can carry you to celestial realms.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“By the Art of the poet we stand uplifted,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And, transfigured, the world floats in an ineffable haze !”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presented in modern terms,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Poetry can trigger the Bliss Response.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It can make you a Kalidasa or Shakespeare,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And immortalise you with fame !                    <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Invocation, the Poet prays,
To the Deity of Wisdom thus<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Be on my tongue as Voice,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And as Nada in the strings of instruments.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And as Almighy Words in the pen,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Swaramay Naavil,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nadanay Tantriyil,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Padamay Thoovil Vanaruluka Nee !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since Grace grants sincere prayers,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deity is obliged to please him.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nama is greater than Nami,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As He serves all devotees; Nanu Bhaktadasa !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I have many aspects,
As son, brother, father, Guru,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So too the Divine has many aspects<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And His Wisdom Aspect is Saraswati !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

( She being His Aspect as Strength, Sakti).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Terror as TIme , The All Destroyer,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Kala Swaroopini, is mighty Kali !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has  ten aspects, the Dasa Maha Vidyas,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And Her Wisdom Aspect is called Matangi !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hippocrene, the Fountain of Poesy,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gushed out of Kalidasa, when She became visible.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manikya Veenam Upalalayanti,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Madala Manjula Vagvilasa.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I behold a Maiden of incalculable Beauty<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Deity of silver tongued oratory,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As resplendent as Blue Sapphire,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the Sole Mother of the Universe !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I bow to the Wisdom Mother,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mother of the Universe,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mahendra Neeladyuti Komalange,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matanga Kanya Manasasmarami !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thou art Mother Supernal,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of the lustre of Emerald<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bestow Thy Grace on us,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

O Most Beauteous One !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mata Marataka Shyma<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
