Man is a political animal,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is influenced by factors five,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Education, Environment,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exposure, Experience and the Genetic.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

” These are the five intervening variables,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Which intermediate in the causal equation”,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Averred the  great Tolman,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Father of Motivational Psychology !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Transcend thyself means,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To transcend thy political self,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Political self is Mr Hyde or Diti,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As all men are Machiavellis !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Become Thyself means,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To become thy true self,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Self aligned to Conscience,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Self which is wholly Positive !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The whole nature of Man,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is to be more than himself,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evolution is forward oriented<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From amoeba to Man Divine !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Man carries cultural baggage,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ruled as he is by the ego function<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ego is Msn’s weakness.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the  imperfect term in him !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evil continues to be a formidable force,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Man. Until Evil is destroyed,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And Light invades the inconscient base,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He will have to battle it out within himself !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evil is the hidden foe lodged in humans,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Man has to overcome  this mighty adversary,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or miss his Fate Divine,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the inner war ineluctable !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Never think the Way is easy,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Long, difficult, dangerous it is !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thou shalt be tested,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

By both Heaven and Earth !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heaven will subject thee,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To pitiless trials and tribulations.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hell will open its mouth,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To threaten and wound thee !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spirituality develops only,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under peculiar adversity<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It seems He polishes his jewels<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the diamond dust of Adversity !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like an Aurobindo having Universal Vision,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the confinesof a jail !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or like Jesus crying out loud,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

” Father, why has thou forsaken me ?”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or like, Melpathur, unable to move,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When he worked on his magnum opus.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or like, Poonthanam writing Jnanappana,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the death of his son !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or like Dante, disappointed in love,
When he composed Divina Comedia !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or like the great TIlak,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When he composed Gita Rahasya in jail !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shloka, verse, arises from Shoka, sorrow,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tasso’s was a sorrowful life.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So was Keats’ and all the greats,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suffered more than commoners !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wise Poets defined it as the Razor’s Edge,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maugham wrote a book about it !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have to walk on Razor’s Edge alone,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lean is the path and way unknown !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enlightenment is Release,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Ego’s tutelage !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This can only be effected,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

By aligning with Self Divine<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Divine alchemy is Yoga,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Human is transmuted to Divine<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Animal Man to Human Man<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
