Three Walls of the Temple Symbolise our Three Bodies, encasing the Self, Who is the Deity, with the Message – Know Thyself, Atmanam Vidhi !

In my dissertation on the Mystic Number Three, I forgot to write the main para , The Three Walls of the Temple Symbolising the Three Bodies of Man

What is a Temple ?

In Rome, Augustus Caesar founded the Temple of Mars, after his superb victory over Brutus !

Temple derives from the Latin ” Tempulum “, a place where Law and Justice can be administered.

Kshyath Trayate iti Ksherah – That which protects you from sorrows is the Temple, you, who are afflicted by vicissitudes, relatives and the sorrow of the temporal !

You have three bodies ( Proper study of Mankind is Man ).

The Gross Physical Body – the Sthoola Sareera

Th Subtle Physical Body – Sookshma Sareera

The Causal Body Karana Sareera

The Maha Karana – the Great Cause – the- Self/ Atman – is encased by these 3 bodies

The Grand Festival of Lights, when the Sun opposes the Pleiades, Deepa Vali !

Diwali is the great Festival of Lights. It is considered to be one of the most beautiful holidays.

Actually Diwali is made up of Five Days. First is the Dhana Trayodashi, the thirteen lunation astrologically, the New Year of Business.

The second day is the Naraka Trayodashi, dedicated to the demon Narakasura, who was vanquished by Lord Vishnu.

The third day is the day of Lakshmi Puja, the Goddess of Prosperity. All shops are closed during this day.

The fourth day is the Bali Worship day, the day when the sacred animals are treated with care and paraded through the streets.

The fifth day is Yama, dedicated to brothers and sisters !

May the Goddess of Prosperity bless you during these auspicious days !
