I meditate on the Mother Divine
Who tenants the Vindhya mountains
Destroyer of the demons,
Lust and anger.

Shumbha and Nishumbha,
Pride and avarice,
Destroyer of Pride,
Greatest enemy of Man !

O Wearer of the Sacred  Thrisul,
Representing Past, Present and Future,
Remover of poverty and sorrow,
Who lightens the forest, Who resides everywhere !

I meditate on the Mother Divine
Who tenant the Vindhya mountains
The Granter of Auspiciousness
Having the pleasantest of faces

Who plays with the Cosmos
Being its generatrix !
O Great Mother,
O Source of Bliss Infinite

Imparter of Happiness ,
With Face beauteous
The Bestower of Boons
I meditate on Thee

O Mighty Mother
Who is triune in manifestation
With three attributes
Satwa,Rajas and Tamas

Symboliser of The Three States
Waking, dreaming and dreamless sleep
O Mother Divine
I meditate on Thee !

O Mother with triune manifestation,
As the three Goddesses
Of Wealth, Wisdom, Valor
Resident of sacred waters, on Thee I meditate.
