A constellation of 13 deg 20 minutes is divided by 36 and we get 36 Velas or states of the Moon.

Different states have been defined by certain Sanskrit names.

Here we give a table for Chandra Avastha  or 12  states of the Moon. Find out the longitude of the Moon in that particular constellation and find out in which state he is in.
