Self-Mastery - Four Easy Steps to Joy, Love and Fulfillment

You can be the master of your life. Imagine creating true joy and light in your heart and your life.

• Can you see yourself doing what you love and earning money doing it?

• Are you like many people who toil at jobs they hate and are condemned to work with people who seem to bring out the worst in them and sometimes you?

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, you are ready to create self-mastery.

What is self-mastery? A broad definition is the concept and journey that allows you to be the master of your destiny. The following four steps will create a foundation for self-mastery.

1. NO matter your age—you are never too young or too old to change your life. Fear of change is the most common reason people are willing to continue working at jobs they hate. With change comes empowerment, motivation and light. FEAR = False Evidence Appearing Real; thus you create the fear you have. Fear isn’t something that comes upon you when you aren’t looking. Fear is created through thoughts. Are you asking yourself, “So what if I don’t know what I want to do with my life? If you look, listen and trust yourself—you will know what you want in your life. Life’s answers reside in your unconscious mind.

2. Looking deep within is difficult at first, however, if you continue to focus on who you are and what you want—you will discover you have awesome characteristics. You might also discover some characteristics you wish you didn’t have. In working with hundreds of people on creating self-mastery, I can attest to the phenomenon that everyone discovers more awesome characteristics than negative characteristics. Unfortunately, we generally only focus on the negative characteristics to the degree that we think there are more negatives than positives—therefore we assume any further introspection will only turn up more negative characteristics. The opposite is true. Focusing on your positive characteristics will light the way within and surround you with the protection and love you need.

3. Love, Forgiveness, Compassion and Truth can only be shared with others when you first experience them within and for yourself. Explore the visionary, the pioneer and the seeker of your truth. Remember the wonderful thing about this journey is that it belongs to you and to you alone. It doesn’t belong to anyone else—no one else will know about it. No one else has to agree with it and you don’t need anyone else’s permission to claim it.

4. The power to create change in your life exists solely inside you. So seek your truth—seek to know yourself for who you truly are. That will be your road to follow. Just for today, promise yourself that you will do your best to honor and bless yourself, those you love and each person you encounter along your path. As you seek your truth and honor yourself you will inspire others to seek theirs. Do not judge others by their comments or actions—acknowledge and bless their progress or the place they choose to be.
