These are the days of Deflation, which is more dangerous than Inflation. The value of Real Estate goes down due to falling prices. Also Stock. Only Gold seems to be insulated from Deflation. In the coming years, the whole world will be under Deflation. It is 1.61% in India, based on the Wholesale Price Index ! Hope this Recession will not turn out to be a Second Great Depression !

In any market,  - gold, realty, stock & forex etc - the key to Market Success is Contrarian Investing.  Buy cheap, sell dear is the principle in all markets -stock, realty, gold, forex etc.

Real Estate Market is also caught by the World Recession and this is not the ideal time to invest. However, it may be dull for a while, but will pick up later.

Dow Jones opined that the key to Stock Market success lies in exercising one man's intelligence and the patience of six men !  Sell stocks at Zenith levels & invest in real estate, which is now in a state of Recession. When the Stock Market crashes, Realty will boom ! Sell Realty at Zenith levels. Research has it that at that time, Stock Market will be at Nadir levels and you can enter that field  ! Recycle !
